GOAL:
To develop a consistent yoga practice, learn basic poses, and build both physical and mental endurance over 30 days.
WEEK 1: Getting Started & Building Foundation
Focus: Learn basic poses, proper alignment, and breathwork.
Goal: To familiarize yourself with the foundational postures and breathing techniques.
WEEK 2: Increasing Strength & Flexibility
Focus: Begin holding poses for longer durations and focus on improving flexibility.
Goal: To increase strength and flexibility through foundational poses and stretches.
WEEK 3: Adding Flow & Building Endurance
Focus: Combine poses into a flowing sequence and improve endurance.
Goal: To practice sequencing and build the ability to flow from one pose to another.
Week 4: Deepening the Practice & Finding Mindfulness
Focus: Deepen your practice with longer holds, balance, and incorporate mindfulness.
Goal: To refine your technique, challenge your balance, and practice mindfulness.
By the end of the 30-day challenge, you'll have built a solid yoga foundation, improved strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. You've also started cultivating a habit of mindfulness, which you can continue long after the challenge ends.
